Latest on Gereza
What's Gereza about?
A couple of things.
Firstly, we want to create a community of African freelancers and professionals who want to provider their services at a fee.
Secondly, we are trying to recruit potential graduates, train them via Digicademy and get them to volunteer their services for free in exchange for experiential learning hours that they can use to meet the requisite hours before graduation.
Thirdly, we want companies to come to Gereza and give us big projects that we can manage on their behalf. How we then plan to make sure that our Gereza workforce community benefits is to have you guys ‘fight’ for the work. We then select the best work and present it to the client. Once the client is happy, they can contract you directly or we can still carry out the project with you hired as one of the people to deliver.
These are only 3 ways we can begin to deliver on the promise of empowerment. This is us doing the little that we can.
Are you looking for a Job or Short-term Projects?
Most institutions of higher learning require Graduates to have a minimum of 140 hours of Work-integrated Learning to be eligible to complete their qualifications.
If you are a graduate looking for a short-term opportunity to show-case your skills, we can help you.
Be sure to sign up as a freelancer on Gereza and get in touch with us and provide us with your complete Gereza profile which must have your resume/portfolio attached.
